Kate Gosselin has taken a big step to distance herself more from her ex-husband. The Jon & Kate Plus 8 star moved from Pennsylvania to North Carolina with her four children. She sold her home in Pennsylvania on the 26th. of January for more than a million dollars.
According to her ex-husband, John Gosselin, Kate did not prepare her daughter Hannah for the sale of the family home. On Doctor Oz, in late 2020, John said Kate only texted Hannah to inform her of the sale.

According to a source, the reality star is moving in with her children so they can go through their junior and senior years with a fresh slate. That means Kate only moved in with four of her sex roles – Leah, Joel, Alexis and Aiden. The other two, Hannah and Colleen, had been with their father for many years.
The family’s 20-year-old twins, Madi and Kara, are in college and will not be moving with their mother and siblings. This move will cause an even greater rift between an already divided family.
The two girls take their time and travel to North Carolina. They were not happy about the move because they have no friends there, the source explained.

Hannah and her brother Colleen had been dating John for over a year. According to John, Kate hasn’t had contact with any of them in a while. John also told him not to go near the other six children.

Last Thanksgiving, Kate had a family dinner, but with an incomplete family. Only her twin daughters and four other children who live with her were present. Hannah and Colleen spent the holiday with their father, his girlfriend and their children. According to John, he hopes that one day his other children will reach out to him and their siblings, but that may not happen anytime soon.

In September 2020, John and Collin had an altercation that led to a 911 call. John said he had just tied his son to a chair. He explained that the boy’s condition was Kate’s fault because she had caused him post-traumatic stress disorder by taking him to a special facility for no apparent reason.
