Matt Wright is a National Geographic (NatGeo) curator, broadcaster, wildlife expert, crocodile expert and helicopter pilot. He was born and raised in the wilderness on the sunny coast of far north Queensland, Papua New Guinea and the Australian Outback on the 29th. August 1979 (Virgo). He comes from a large sheep farming family where his father was a wool handler and his mother a housewife and sheep farmer. Matt has always been drawn to wild animals, especially snakes and deadly insects. By the time he was 10 years old, he had already collected some of Australia’s deadliest animals, which he often has trouble with at home.

He attended high school in Willunga, South Australia and obtained his helicopter pilot’s license at the age of 21. His love for the adrenaline rush of life and adventure is what sets him apart from his peers. He quickly joined the military, left the reserves at 22 and began a career as a top-notch reptile catcher. He is now the star of his own international television series on National Geographic.

Matt Wright’s Career Details

Matt was there and did a lot. He could do anything from a horse trader to an Australian soldier to a crocodile collector. He helped with the National Unit where he investigated wild animals and caught poisonous snakes. Developing his passion for flying and piloting helicopters has not been a challenge for him, as trying new things seems to be his specialty. As previously mentioned, he is the star of his own National Geographic series called Outback Wrangler, which aired in 2011 and is seen in over 85 countries, 90 million homes and 37 languages around the world. The series is simply repetitive, showing close-ups of the crazy life of protagonist Matt Wright and his two friends Willow and Jono. As a trio, they track, transport and capture all wildlife, from wild buffalo to crocodiles to polar bears. The show is full of action and many racing moments. Armed with cars, helicopters and giant boats, the trio brings all the action they can handle to the show. He works closely with many scientists, breeding station owners and many others.

Her fundamental belief is that wildlife should be moved to protect her and people from harm. Instead of shooting crocodiles, Matt focuses on keeping them out of harm’s way and providing a safe habitat. He also starred in another series called Monster Croc Wrangler. He also has a book called Outback Adventures that is published with the Penguin books. In 2009 he appeared briefly on Channel 7. The transmitter showed him catching a 5.6 m long, 850 kg crocodile in northern Australia.

He was nominated for the AACTA Subscription TV Best Male Anchor Award, as was the award-winning travel agent.

We don’t know much about Matt Wright’s previous relationship, but he married Kaia Wright on the 10th. November 2017. They met in 2014 when Kaya, who had been single for some time, wished an angel would fall from the sky. It happened one day when Kaya was on a boat with a group of friends and didn’t want to meet anyone, a helicopter arrived and landed in front of the group.

Matt changed and jumped into the car. Kaya Wright believed it was fate that made the whole encounter happen, they dated for a while and got engaged on the 6th. November 2016. You have a son.
