Rick Santorum, the infamous U.S. Senator, lawyer, jurist and political analyst, was born in Virginia in May 1958. His parents were originally Italians who emigrated to the United States. Rick’s parents were in the medical field. His father, Aldo Santorum, worked as a psychologist and his mother, Catherine Santorum, was a nurse. Rick began his political career as a volunteer for Senator John Heinz in the 1970s and then as an administrative assistant for Pennsylvania State Senator John Doyle Corman from 1981 to 1986. After law school, Rick worked as a legal assistant at Kirkpatrick & Lockhart in Pittsburgh from 1986 to 1990.

In 1990, Rick Santorum left the practice of law to join the U.S. Congress in the 18th District. District of Pennsylvania, where he served two terms. From January 1991 to January 1995
Between 1995 and 2007, Rick Santorum served two terms in the United States Senate as leader of Pennsylvania. In 2006, he was re-elected by Democrat Bob Casey Jr.

Early in his post-Senate career, Ricks joined the Center for Ethics and Public Policy in January 2007, joined Fox News as a political reporter in February, and became a senior partner at the law firm of Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott, LLC in Washington, D.C., in March 2007.

Santorum’s term at Eckert Seamans ran from 2007 to 2008, and his contract at Fox News ran from 2007 to 2011, while he worked at the Center for Ethics and Public Policy from 2007 to 2011.
Rick began his campaign on June 6, 2011 in Somerset City, Pennsylvania, but was short-lived when he passed away on the 10th. In April 2012, he announced the end of his presidential campaign after the hospitalization of his daughter Bella.

In 2013, Rick was named CEO of EchoLight Studios, a Christian film company based in Dallas.

Rick announced it on the 27th. May 2015 publicly announced his candidacy for the 2016 presidential election, but due to poor results on 3. February 2016 was suspended.
