Backlink strategies have seen major overhaul due to Google’s evolving perspective. Historically, acquiring as many backlinks as possible was a common practice. However, with the introduction of the Penguin algorithm update, the focus shifted towards acquiring quality backlinks. Penguin penalizes sites with manipulative backlink profiles and rewards those with authentic, high-quality backlinks.
